You must wear a harness equipped with an energy absorber and special Via Ferrata carabiners that secure you in the event of a fall. This activity is a good introduction to big wall climbing. This beginner via ferrata is a short route, with three Tibetan bridges (6 meters, 25 meters, and 8 meters) over the Río Isuala. It is ideal for complementing any activity in the Sierra de Guara with young children and is very fun.

Rodellar – Espolón de la Virgen via ferrata

This via ferrata is a very exposed route. During the approach, in the bed of the Río Mascún, you may get your feet wet more than once, as the path merges with the river until reaching the spring. The route begins with a quick ascent that gradually becomes more challenging, giving a sense of height.
The final section takes us easily to the summit, where the Hermitage of La Virgen del Castillo is located.
Olvena – Santo Cristo via ferrata

The route quickly leads into a narrow gorge, which will be the main area where the via ferrata takes place. Technically, it is more of an equipped path than a via ferrata. After the gorge, the route becomes slightly exposed to height, and we move forward with only the help of the safety cable. In the final section, the verticality increases. The via ends by climbing a slippery surface equipped with staples until reaching the Olvena viewpoint.
Vadiello – Canal del Palomo via ferrata
