The Cultural Park of the Vero River hides a legacy of exceptional CRAVE ART, from the interpretation center of Colungo you can travel back in time and enter an exciting world.
Alquézar, located in the Somontano region, has in its vicinity a large number of wineries of the Somontano D.O., which have a worldwide reputation.
You can also find authentic olive oil mills as well as a distillery of eau-de-vie and pomace of centenary tradition.
Kermes oaks, almond trees, olive trees, strawberry trees and bushes make up the majority of this landscape that also becomes an important rocky reserve, where the RAPACES BIRDS such as the vulture, the bearded vulture and the Egyptian vulture stand out.
All this makes the Camping Río Vero, the perfect “Base Camp” to get close to nature in the Sierra de Guara!!!

The canyon of the Vero River, in the Sierra de Guara, houses an open-air prehistoric museum with more than 60 rock art shelters of the Paleolithic, Levantine and Schematic styles. This legacy, declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1998, is part of the “Rock Art of the Mediterranean Arc of the Iberian Peninsula”.
