About Reservations
What are the availabilities?
Reservations are always confirmed in order of arrival. Sometimes we send several quotes for the same type of accommodation and the day of contact is available, but it may happen that when the client decides to book, it is no longer available. The campsite will then offer an alternative.
How to book?
There are 3 ways to book:
- Through our website by clicking on the "RESERVATIONS" tab. Online booking is fast and payment by credit card is secure.

What are the steps for an online reservation?
- Click on the "RESERVATIONS" tab
- Follow the steps by filling in the requested information and bank details for payment
- The campsite will send you confirmation of your reservation (if there is no availability in the desired category, the campsite will contact you to offer another alternative)
- You will need to return the completed and signed reservation contract by email or postal mail
What are the steps for booking by email/phone?
- Accept the quote sent by the campsite
- Wait for confirmation of availability from the campsite
- Return the completed and signed reservation contract by email
- Make the reservation payment of 40% of the total invoice
- Once the payment is verified, the campsite will send you confirmation of your reservation by email
What payment methods are accepted at the campsite?
- Cash
- Bank cards (except American Express)
- Bank transfer (for reservations by phone/email)
Does the campsite have cancellation insurance?
Yes
What is the amount of reservation fees?
The campsite does not charge any reservation fees.
Can I reserve a specific pitch or accommodation?
NO. Pitches and accommodations are reserved by category, you cannot reserve a specific number. However, you can indicate your preference (in the "STAY OBSERVATIONS" box) at the time of booking. For example: near the bathrooms, near the river, next to the LOPEZ family... We will do our best to satisfy you according to availability.
Can I reserve two pitches/accommodations next to each other?
NO. Only one reservation can be made at a time. You must repeat the reservation for a second pitch or accommodation. If you want them next to each other, do not forget to indicate it in the "STAY OBSERVATIONS" box at the time of booking.
Can I reserve a Mobil Home for just one night?
NO. Our "Mobil Home" accommodations are rented for a minimum of 2 nights in low season.
For the 2025 season:
- Easter, from 16/04 to 20/04: minimum 3 nights
- May 1st holiday from 30/04 to 04/05: minimum 3 nights
- French Ascension holiday from 28/05 to 01/06: minimum 3 nights
- French Pentecost holiday from 06/06 to 09/06: minimum 3 nights
- San Juan holiday, from 20/06 to 24/06: minimum 3 nights
- From 01/07 to 25/07 and from 24/08 to 31/08: minimum 4 nights
- From 26/07 to 23/08: minimum 7 nights (from Saturday to Saturday only)
Can I reserve a Bengali Tent for just one night?
NO. Our "Bengali Tent" accommodations are rented for a minimum of 2 nights throughout the season.
Are babies included in the maximum capacity of the accommodations?
YES. Babies are counted within the maximum capacity.
Are babies counted in the accommodation rate calculation?
- YES. If your baby is older than 3 years.
- NO. If your baby is younger than 4 years (free).
Is a deposit required for accommodations?
YES.
- For renting an accommodation, you must leave a deposit of €100 in cash or by card.
- The accommodation must be returned in good condition, clean and tidy. In case of damage to the furniture (breakages, deficiencies, deterioration...) part of the amount will be withheld to repair the damage caused in the accommodation.
- The accommodation must be delivered in perfect condition upon departure (clean floors, washed dishes, blankets and bedspreads folded, empty bins and trash cans, clean closets, kitchen, bathrooms and WC clean, air conditioning off and gas turned off and closed).
If the accommodation is not delivered clean at the end of your stay, €60 cleaning fee will automatically be deducted from the deposit given at reception on the day of arrival.
NOTE: If you notice any anomaly in the condition of your mobil home upon arrival, you must notify the campsite reception immediately, which will correct the situation as soon as possible. If you do not do so, no claim will be considered at the end of your stay.
Is a deposit required for camping pitches?
YES. For a camping pitch, you must leave a deposit of €20 in cash or an identity document. Camping pitches must be returned in good condition, clean and tidy. No cigarette butts on the ground, no garbage and no clotheslines on the trees.
Can a reservation be modified?
YES. According to availability. Contact us as soon as possible by phone or email and we will look for a solution.
Does the campsite offer long stays?
YES. According to availability. The campsite offers a monthly rate and an annual rate.

Can you arrive at the campsite after midnight?
YES. For entering accommodations (with prior notice). You must leave your car parked in the external parking lot. The night guard will accompany you and give you your key. In exchange, you must leave your ID cards. The next morning you just have to go to reception to finish the check-in and recover your documents.
NO. For camping pitches, as vehicles cannot circulate after midnight and absolute silence must be maintained.
Can you leave the campsite outside reception hours?
YES. In this case, you must:
- Notify reception in advance of your departure outside opening hours
- Leave the accommodation clean and tidy
- Leave the keys to your accommodation in the mailbox located at the campsite entrance
- Park your car in the external parking lot, as the campsite entrance opens from 8:00 am
- After checking the good condition of the accommodation, your deposit will be returned
Are bachelor/bachelorette parties accepted?
NO. If a bachelor/bachelorette group comes to the campsite without mentioning it at the time of booking, we will be forced to expel them from the campsite. Camping Rio Vero is a family campsite, and we want to maintain an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
Are children's camps accepted at the campsite?
YES. Always supervised by monitors, who will be responsible for their group and for ensuring they respect the campsite rules.
About Cancellation Insurance
What guarantees does the cancellation insurance cover?
Campez Couvert is a travel insurance designed to cover damages suffered by the insured before and during the trip, as well as expenses that remain at their charge.
It includes guarantees in case of trip cancellation, late arrival, interruption of stay, forgotten personal items, as well as the provision of a replacement vehicle.

What should I do in case of cancellation or interruption of my stay?

About Pets
Are pets allowed?
YES. Pets are allowed on pitches, paying the corresponding fee according to the season. They must always be properly leashed and accompanied by their owner at all times. Their vaccination passports may be requested at any time. Except for dogs considered potentially dangerous: Akita Inu, Bullmastiff, Doberman, Dogo Argentino, Dogo de Burdeos, Fila Brasileiro, Mastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pit Bull Terrier, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Tosa Inu.
Our internal regulations govern the admission of these dogs according to the legal regime for the ownership of potentially dangerous animals, established by Royal Decree 287/2002 of March 22; Law 50/1999 of December 23.
Are dogs allowed on camping pitches?
YES. The corresponding fee will be charged according to the season.
A maximum of 3 animals per pitch is accepted.
First and second category dogs are prohibited.
- They must have their vaccination passport, which may be requested at any time.
- They must be leashed throughout the campsite and accompanied by their owner at all times.
- Animal waste must be collected by their owners (a green area outside the campsite can be used for their needs).
- No pet may be left alone on the campsite, even if tied to a tree or inside a tent or vehicle.
- Any damage caused by an animal must be reported to campsite staff.
Are dogs allowed in accommodations?
YES. A supplement of €12.00 per night and per animal will be charged.
A maximum of 2 animals per accommodation is accepted.
First and second category dogs are prohibited.
- They must have their vaccination passport, which may be requested at any time.
- Control your pets and do not allow them on the beds or sofa bed.
- They must be leashed throughout the campsite and accompanied by their owner at all times.
- Animal waste must be collected by their owners (a green area outside the campsite can be used for their needs).
- No pet may be left alone on the campsite, even locked in the accommodation, in the absence of its owner.
- Any damage caused by an animal must be reported to campsite staff.
About Accommodations
Can you smoke in the accommodations?
Is there a bathroom in the Bengali tents?
Are sheets provided in the Bengali tents?
NO. You can bring your own sheets from home. Or if you prefer, you can rent sheet kits at the campsite for your stay.
Our sheet rental rates:
- The kit for a double bed costs €7
- The kit for a single bed costs €5
Are towels provided in the accommodations?
Are pillows provided in the accommodations?
Are blankets provided in the accommodations?
YES. In the Mobil Home accommodations. You will find blankets in the wardrobes of the accommodation.
NO. In the Bengali tent accommodations.
Due to the current situation (COVID-19), we no longer lend blankets but rent them for €3 (due to the cost of cleaning and disinfection).
If you want to rent a blanket, request it at reception.
Is there a kitchen in the accommodations?
YES.
Mobil Homes have a gas kitchen, microwave, Italian coffee maker, refrigerator, and a basic set of dishes.
The Bengali tent has a camping gas stove with 2 burners, an Italian coffee maker, a refrigerator, and a basic set of dishes.
Is there a TV in the accommodations?
Is toilet paper provided in the accommodations?
NO. In the campsite supermarket you will find everything you need.
The campsite offers a Welcome Kit containing:
- 1 roll of toilet paper
- 1 box of matches
- 1 garbage bag
- 1 cloth
- 1 sponge
- 1 multi-purpose tablet for floor cleaning
- 30ml dish soap
Are cleaning products provided in the accommodations?
NO. In the campsite supermarket you will find everything you need to leave your accommodation clean for check-out.
The campsite offers a Welcome Kit containing:
- 1 roll of toilet paper
- 1 box of matches
- 1 garbage bag
- 1 cloth
- 1 sponge
- 1 multi-purpose tablet for floor cleaning
- 30ml dish soap
Is there air conditioning in the Mobil Homes?
NO. In the Vero model.
Is there heating in the Mobil Homes?
NO. The Vero Mobil Home only has a gas stove in the living room.
NO. In the Bengali tent, it is recommended to bring a heating device from home during March, April, September, and October.
Is there WIFI in the accommodations?
YES. In Bengali tents from No. 1 to No. 10
NO. In Bengali tents from No. 11 to No. 26
WIFI is free.
Is it possible to rent a crib for my baby?
Only children from 0 to 3 years old may sleep in the cribs.
Is it possible to rent a high chair for my baby?

What is the final cleaning fee?
The cleaning fee is €60 per accommodation.
If you want to enjoy your vacation until the last second, hire the cleaning service.

Is the campsite open all year round?
Can campers receive visitors?
YES. Campers can receive visitors. A visitor is someone who comes for a short time but does not stay overnight at the campsite.
Here are the steps to follow:
- The camper must notify reception in advance about the visit.
- The visitor must check in at reception and pay the fee.
- The visitor must leave an identity document and collect it upon departure.
- The visitor's vehicle must remain parked in the external parking lot.
- The visitor must leave the campsite before midnight.
Is there a motorhome service area?
YES. This service is free for our guests. You can empty your grey water, chemical toilet, and fill your water tank.
For travelers passing through who are not staying at the campsite and want to use this service, the cost is 5 euros. Travelers must check in at reception and pay the fee before use. Overnight stays in the area are not allowed.
Is there a water filling service for travelers?
YES. This service is free for our guests. You can fill your water tank.

Is there a swimming pool at the campsite?
Can you swim in the river next to the campsite?
YES. It is safe, the water is not deep.
There are several swimming areas accessible from the campsite, which will be indicated to you upon arrival.
Are barbecues allowed at the campsite?
YES. The campsite has a barbecue area for guests, equipped with 3 grills. Barbecues are prohibited on camping pitches as we are in a National Park due to fire risk.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the middle grill is disabled to maintain social distancing.
Is there children's entertainment at the campsite?

For used oils, you can give them directly to the Bar-Restaurant staff; a company collects them once a month.
