Internal regulations

ENTRY:

 

  • Customers are required to identify themselves with an original, official ID document.
  • Whenever requested, customers must identify themselves as registered customers.

 

CAMPSITE ASSIGNMENT:

 

  • Occupying or changing a pitch or accommodation is only permitted with prior authorization from Reception.
  • The maximum number of people per pitch is six.
  • The maximum number of people depends on the accommodation’s capacity.
  • The pitches at Campsite Rio Vero are marked by trees. If there are no trees or if you are unsure, please consult Reception or a staff member to be accompanied to your pitch.
  • Customers occupying more space than assigned must vacate the excess area.

 

VEHICLE TRAFFIC:

 

  • Vehicle speed is limited to 10 km/h.
  • Vehicle circulation within Campsite Rio Vero is prohibited during quiet hours (from midnight until 8:00 a.m.).
  • The entrance gate will be closed during this period.
  • Customers arriving during these hours must leave their vehicle in the outside parking area.

 

VEHICLE PARKING:

 

  • Vehicles may only be parked on their own pitch.
  • Parking on unoccupied pitches is prohibited.
  • Parking on internal roads in a way that obstructs traffic is prohibited.

 

OUTSIDE PARKING AREA:

 

  • The Campsite Rio Vero has an outside parking area located at the entrance of the campsite.
  • Customers who do not wish to enter with their vehicle may park there.
  • Please take special care not to leave valuables visible.

 

ELECTRIC CARS:

 

  • Charging electric vehicles at Campsite Rio Vero is strictly prohibited.
  • Any damage caused to the campsite’s electrical network will be the guest’s responsibility.

 

BICYCLES/ELECTRIC SCOOTERS:

 

  • The speed limit for these vehicles is also 10 km/h.
  • After 10:00 p.m., they may not circulate within Campsite Rio Vero.
  • They may not be used in common areas.
  • When riding in the dark, they must be equipped with lights.

 

PETS:

 

  • Pets, like customers, must be registered upon arrival at Campsite Rio Vero, and documentation must be presented.
  • Owners must have civil liability insurance and a vaccination certificate.
  • Pet rates are available at Reception.
  • Pets are accepted, except for Category 1 and Category 2 dogs (considered dangerous breeds), which are prohibited.
  • A maximum of 3 animals per pitch and 2 animals per accommodation is allowed.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times and are not allowed inside sanitary facilities or common areas.
  • If a pet relieves itself within the campsite, the owner must collect and dispose of the waste properly.
  • Pets must not cause disturbance to other customers and may not remain unattended on the pitch or in the accommodation (even if tied to a tree or inside a vehicle).
  • Any damage caused by a pet must be reported to Campsite Rio Vero staff.

 

TABLE TENIS TABLE:

 

  • Paddles and balls are available to borrow at reception.
  • The hours of use are from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Outside of these hours, its use is not permitted, in order to respect everyone’s rest.

 

QUIET HOURS:

 

  • From 11:00 p.m., all customers must respect others’ right to rest.
  • Absolute silence must be observed from midnight to 7:00 a.m.
  • The responsible customer must ensure that all registered persons under their care comply with quiet hours.

 

NOISE:

 

  • During the day, the use of sound devices, musical instruments, and pets must not cause disturbance to neighbors or disrupt the peace of other campers.
  • The Campsite Rio Vero reserves the right to determine when noise exceeds reasonable and acceptable levels and may prohibit any source of noise pollution accordingly.

 

GARBAGE:

 

  • It is forbidden to leave rubbish in the accommodation or on the pitches; containers are located outside the campsite, in the parking area.
  • A selective waste collection area is available, with separate containers for plastics, glass, organic matter, and other waste.
  • Thank you for cooperating with waste separation.

 

FOUNTAINS:

 

  • Fountains may not be used for washing kitchen utensils or for personal hygiene.

 

TOBACCO:

 

  • Smoking is allowed on pitches.
  • Smoking is prohibited inside accommodations.
  • As we are located in a protected Natural Park, please take special care to fully extinguish cigarette butts to prevent fires.
  • Throwing cigarette butts on the ground is prohibited for safety, hygiene, and respect for future customers.

 

SMOKE-FREE AREA:

 

  • According to national legislation (Law 42/2010), smoking is prohibited in all covered facilities of Campsite Rio Vero, including the bar and restaurant terraces.

 

FIRE:

 

  • Lighting open fires is strictly prohibited within Camping Rio Vero and surrounding areas (riverbank, river, neighboring properties, etc.).
  • Only electric barbecues, portable barbecues, and camping gas stoves are allowed on pitches.

 

BARBECUES:

 

  • Only charcoal may be used in the barbecue area. The use of wood is prohibited.
  • After use, the barbecue area must be left clean and tidy.
  • The barbecue area may be used from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; outside these hours, its use and staying in the area are prohibited.

 

FIRES/EMERGENCIES:

 

  • Fire extinguishers are available in all common areas (sanitary facilities, showers, sinks, laundry, barbecue area).
  • Using extinguishers for purposes other than emergencies is prohibited.
  • In case of fire, immediately inform Reception or call 112.

 

CARE AND RESPECT FOR FACILITIES:

 

  • Please use water and energy responsibly.
  • Help keep the Campsite Rio Vero clean by leaving facilities as you found them.
  • Any damage caused by the customer will be reported, and Campsite Rio Vero reserves the right to claim compensation.
  • Water fountains may not be used for cleaning kitchen utensils or personal hygiene.
  • Digging trenches or altering the ground is prohibited. Only tent pegs may be used to secure tents. Failure to comply may result in liability for damages.
  • Please use designated paths and avoid crossing pitches. Going up or down the banks is prohibited.
  • Taking stones from the river and leaving them in the camping area is prohibited. If used to secure tents, please return them to their original place.
  • Climbing over the fence to enter or leave the Campsite Rio Vero is prohibited.

 

CARE AND RESPECT FOR NATURE:

 

  • Trees and plants must not be watered with wastewater. Water containing detergents may damage them. Respect the vegetation and do not allow anyone to harm it.
  • Attaching wires or hammering nails into trees is prohibited. If using ropes, protect the tree with cardboard or fabric and remove them before departure.

 

DEPARTURE:

 

  • Pitches must be vacated before 12:00 noon.
  • Accommodations must be vacated before 11:00 a.m..
  • They must be left clean and in good condition.
  • Customers wishing to leave during quiet hours (midnight to 8:00 a.m.) must leave their vehicle in the outside parking area before midnight the previous day.

 

ABANDONED PROPERTY:

 

  • Any equipment or object remaining after the departure time will be considered abandoned.
  • Campsite Rio Vero staff will remove it without responsibility for loss or damage.
  • If valuable items are found, the Campsite Rio Vero will notify the customer by email or phone and store them during the current season, during which the customer must collect them.

 

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

  • A first aid kit is available at Reception.
  • As a precaution, we recommend not leaving clothes hanging out during your absence.
  • Photos may be taken during your stay for promotional purposes. If you do not agree, please notify us by email before arrival.

 

CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Customers are responsible for keeping their pitch or accommodation clean during their stay.
  • Proper clothing is required at all times.
  • The children’s playground area is unsupervised. Children must always be supervised by an adult.
  • Minors must remain under the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
  • Children must not play inside sanitary facilities.
  • Violent or disturbing games are not allowed.
  • Campsite Rio Vero is supervised in the evenings/nights during high season (July and August); however, customers are advised to take normal precautions to safeguard their belongings.

 

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY:

 

  • Campsite Rio Vero holds civil liability insurance covering damages arising strictly from its business activity.
  • In case of accidents, damage caused to property or persons by customers or third parties is the responsibility of the person causing it.
  • The Campsite Rio Vero is not responsible for loss, theft, fire, force majeure events such as weather conditions (storms, hail, wind, etc.), or natural disasters.
  • The Campsite Rio Vero is not responsible for disturbances caused by wild animals or insects.

 

APPLICATION:

 

  • This regulation and the provisions displayed throughout the facilities are mandatory.
  • Campsite Rio Vero reserves the right, in exceptional cases, to authorize variations from these rules without creating precedent.
  • Any violation of these rules (serious misconduct, verbal abuse, failure to comply with internal regulations, nighttime disturbance, or damage), or ignoring staff instructions, may result in immediate expulsion.
  • Vandalism, aggressive behavior, voyeurism, and theft may be reported to the competent authorities in addition to expulsion.
  • These regulations are based on common practices and applicable legal provisions. Their purpose is to protect both the interests of Campsite Rio Vero and its customers, ensuring a pleasant and safe stay for all.
  • As manager of the establishment, Campsite Rio Vero may authorize or deny actions not expressly covered by these rules and will inform guests accordingly.
