The rock and the geological formations combined with the erosion have created magical and very unique walls in the Sierra de Guara. In the addition to its known canyons, the Sierra de Guara has numerous attractive rocky formations for many climbers.
Alquézar
Alquézar has about 200 climbing routes in 13 sectors, long routes of 20 to 40 meters predominate, but it also has its initiation zones with routes of maximum 15 meters. The orientation is mostly west, so it is preferable to go in the summer in the morning and in the winter in the afternoon. The areas are at the top of the town. The rock is red limestone and is well equipped.
Rodellar
Rodellar is the pilgrimage point for climbers from all corners of Spain and the world, which makes for a very international atmosphere. The climbing area offers more than 400 routes in 35 sectors. All sectors are easily accessible on foot. The sectors are distributed mainly in the ravine of the Mascún river and in two nearby ravines. Everywhere there are beautiful pools for bathing.
Vadiello
Vadiello is the Sierra de Guara climbing school, its walls and spiers are made of chipboard and it has a total of 433 routes. The area is located near Huesca in a magnificent natural environment near the swamp of the same name and surrounded by slender limestone mountains.
